My adventures are based in Nagoya and Aichi, and include touring, gourmet food hunts, fishing, camping, and visits to temples and shrines. Recently, I’ve also been enjoying budget-friendly train trips and car travel. I've organized my blog by prefecture through categorized archives, so you can easily browse destinations by region. You’ll also find plenty of local recommendations for B-grade gourmet spots around Nagoya and beyond. If you’re planning a trip, a motorcycle tour, a road trip, or even just a casual outing or date, I hope my blog can offer some helpful tips and ideas.
A loop around Mt. Fuji to celebrate its life-giving springs. Start with learning and prayer, then visit iconic waters such as Shiraito Falls, Oshino Hakkai, and the Kakita River springs—plus local eats and a sparkling night view to finish.
Start at the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center (Shizuoka), then move to Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha, a central Shinto shrine venerating Mt. Fuji. The sacred Wakutama-ike spring in the precincts sets the tone for a day devoted to water.
A curtain of countless spring-fed threads cascading from a basalt cliff—a pure expression of Mt. Fuji’s groundwater. Pair it with nearby Otodome Falls for contrast.
Try the local classic Fujinomiya yakisoba with delightfully chewy noodles, then a kusamochi (mugwort rice cake) for dessert. Easy parking for road-trippers.
In the Aokigahara forest, choose between the Narusawa Ice Cave (steep vertical route, naturally cold) and the Fugaku Wind Cave (gentler horizontal route, once used as a natural refrigerator for silkworm eggs).
