スマートタグが救ってくれた！落とした自転車の鍵が見つかるまで

先日のこと
ナゴヤドーム（バンテリンドーム）での
野球観戦を終えて帰ろうとした時のこと。

自転車の鍵が……ない。

サコッシュに取り付けていたはずが。。。

My bicycle key was gone.I was sure I had attached it to my sacoche, but...
いつもは鍵をサコッシュのカラビナに固定しているのですが、この日はどうやら布地を噛んでしまっていたらしく、気づかぬうちにどこかで落としてしまっていたようです。

頼みの綱は「スマートタグ」

幸いにも、鍵にはあらかじめスマートタグを取り付けていました。
I usually keep my bike key clipped to the carabiner on my sacoche, but that day, it must have caught on the fabric somehow — and without me noticing, it fell off somewhere along the way.

My only hope: the smart tag.

Thankfully, I had attached a smart tag to the key in advance.

数分ごとに位置情報を記録してくれており、スマホのアプリから最後に確認された場所も見られる状態。
The smart tag had been recording its location every few minutes, and through the smartphone app, I could see the last place it had been detected.

音が鳴らない！？

アプリ画面（財布や自転車の鍵のある場所が表示されています）

アプリで「音を鳴らす」ボタンを押してみるも、「接続されませんでした」の表示…。
Bluetoothが届かない距離にあるのか、何かに遮られているのか——。
I tapped the “Play Sound” button in the app, hoping to hear a beep… but instead, it said “Unable to connect.”

Maybe it was out of Bluetooth range, or something was blocking the signal...

歩いたルートをしらみつぶしに

表示されている落としたと思われるエリア周辺を何度も歩き直しながら、スマホを片手に接続を試みては「音を鳴らす」を繰り返す作戦に。 そして数分後……
I started walking around the area where I thought I might have dropped it, retracing my steps over and over.

With my phone in hand, I kept trying to connect — tapping “Play Sound” again and again in hopes of hearing that beep.

And then, a few minutes later…

ピープ音！
Beep!

ふとスマホがタグとの接続を認識。
すかさず続けて音を鳴らすと、草むらの中からかすかに「ピー……ピー……」という音が！
Suddenly, my phone recognized the connection to the tag.
Without missing a beat, I tapped “Play Sound” again — and from somewhere in the grass, I heard it…
a faint “beep... beep...”

しゃがんで音を頼りに探してみると、なんとそこに鍵が落ちていました！
I crouched down and followed the sound — and there it was: my key, lying right there in the grass!

まさにスマートタグ様々

もしこのタグがなければ、こんな夜の街で鍵を探すなんて不可能でした。

わずか千円ちょっとで得られる安心感——本当にありがたい体験でした。

I truly owe it all to the smart tag.Without it, finding a tiny key in the city at night would’ve been nearly impossible.The peace of mind it gave me — all for just a little over a thousand yen — was absolutely priceless.What a relief, and what a lifesaver.
