名古屋では『郷土の三英傑』に数えられる豊臣秀吉（1537〜1598）
農民の出自から天下人へと成り上がった日本史上の稀有な人物として有名ですね。
織田信長に仕え、その死後は明智光秀を討ち、全国統一を果たしました。彼は政治・軍事・文化の各面に多大な影響を残し、今日でも多くの史跡が彼の足跡を伝えています。

Toyotomi Hideyoshi , one of the “Three Heroes of Nagoya,” is celebrated as a local historical figure.Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1537–1598) was a remarkable historical figure who rose from a peasant background to become Japan's unifier. Serving under Oda Nobunaga and later avenging his death by defeating Akechi Mitsuhide, Hideyoshi eventually unified the nation. His influence extended across politics, warfare, and culture, and many historical sites still bear witness to his legacy.

1. 中村公園（愛知県名古屋市）
Nakamura Park (Nagoya, Aichi)

秀吉の出生地として知られる地。園内には豊国神社や秀吉清正記念館があります。

Known as the birthplace of Hideyoshi, the park includes Toyokuni Shrine and the Hideyoshi-Kiyomasa Memorial Museum.

2. 墨俣一夜城（岐阜県大垣市）
Sunomata Castle (Ogaki, Gifu)

「一夜で築いた」と伝わる伝説の城。秀吉の出世の第一歩として有名です。

3. 長浜城（滋賀県長浜市）
Nagahama Castle (Nagahama, Shiga)

秀吉が初めて与えられた城。現在は資料館として見学可能です。

4. 大坂城（大阪市中央区）
Osaka Castle (Osaka City)

豊臣政権の中枢。壮大な石垣と再建天守が今も歴史を伝えています。

Center of the Toyotomi regime. Its massive stone walls and reconstructed tower evoke his power.

5. 名護屋城跡（佐賀県唐津市）
Nagoya Castle Ruins (Karatsu, Saga)

朝鮮出兵の前線基地として築かれた巨大城郭。周囲には大名の陣屋跡が残ります。

Built as a base for Hideyoshi's Korean campaigns. Surrounded by the remains of feudal lords' camps.

6. 伏見城跡と豊国廟（京都市）
Fushimi Castle Ruins & Toyokuni Mausoleum (Kyoto)

晩年の居城と墓所。現在は伏見桃山城公園や豊国神社として整備されています。
