境内の石碑によると、五社神社では以下の五柱の神々が祀られています。 According to a stone monument on the grounds, the following five deities are enshrined at Gosha Jinja:

• 大国主命（おおくにぬしのみこと）/ Okuninushi no Mikoto
• 事代主命（ことしろぬしのみこと）/ Kotokoshiro-nushi no Mikoto
• 志貴皇子命（しきのみこのみこと）/ Shiki-no-miko no Mikoto
• 思兼命（おもいかねのみこと）/ Omoikane no Mikoto

今回の訪問のきっかけは、妻の人と頻繁に訪れていた琵琶湖畔にある藤ケ崎龍神社の御神体が、崖崩れにより安全が確認されるまで五社神社へ一時遷座していることを知り、お参りに伺ったことです。 The reason for my recent visit was learning that the sacred object of **Fujigasaki Ryujinja**, located by Lake Biwa where my wife and I often visited, had been **temporarily relocated to Gosha Jinja** until the cliff instability could be resolved—so we came to pay our respects.
