1. 道の駅 宇陀路大宇陀とは

奈良県宇陀市の国道沿いに位置する「道の駅 宇陀路大宇陀」は、歴史ある町並みと自然に囲まれた癒しの空間。 観光の中継地としてだけでなく、地元の人々にも愛されている施設です。Located along a national highway in Uda City, Nara Prefecture, "Michi-no-Eki Udaji-Ouda" is a relaxing spot surrounded by historic townscapes and rich natural scenery.

It’s not only a convenient stopover for travelers, but also a beloved place for the local community.

2. 風情ある外観と広い駐車場

建物は町屋風の落ち着いたデザイン。トラックも停められる広い駐車場があり、ドライバーの休憩にもぴったりです。
Designed in a soothing traditional machiya style, the facility offers a large parking area—even trucks can park here—making it a perfect place for drivers to take a break.

3. 地元食材を使ったレストランも　There’s also a restaurant serving dishes made with local ingredients

地元食材をふんだんに盛り込んだ料理が楽しめるレストランも併設されています。
A cozy restaurant is attached, serving up meals full of fresh, local flavors.

4. 無料の足湯でリラックス
Take a moment to unwind in the complimentary foot bath

無料で楽しめる足湯「大宇陀温泉 あきののゆ」は、アルカリ性単純温泉。免疫力を高める効果もあるとか！
利用時間：午前10時〜午後5時
Relax for free at “Ouda Onsen Akinonoyu,” a simple alkaline foot bath

rumored to give your immune system a little boost!
Open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

5. 特産品売り場でおみやげ探し　Find your favorite local treat at the specialty shop!

館内の売店では「柿の葉寿司」「大和茶スイーツ」など奈良らしい商品がたくさん。見るだけでも楽しい！　
Inside the gift shop, you’ll find all kinds of local Nara specialties—like kaki no ha sushi and Yamato tea sweets.
Even window-shopping is a treat!

6. 阿騎野の新鮮野菜直売所　Akinō’s Fresh Produce Stand

併設の「阿騎野新鮮野菜直売所」では、朝採れ野菜や鉢花がずらり。地元の方々が集まる人気の売場です。
Right next door, the “Akinō Fresh Produce Market” offers rows of just-picked vegetables and seasonal potted flowers.
A lively, well-loved market frequented by the locals.

7. 奈良県産のお米「ひとめぼれ」　“Hitomebore” – A Premium Rice Variety Grown in Nara Prefecture

 直売所では「ひとめぼれ」など地元産のお米も販売。2.8kg入りで2,000円、パッケージには柿本人麻呂のイラストが描かれています
You can also find locally grown rice like “Hitomebore” at the market.
A 2.8 kg bag costs 2,000 yen and comes in a package adorned with artwork of Kakinomoto no Hitomaro, a legendary poet from ancient Japan.

8. 電動レンタサイクルでまち歩き　Strolling Around Town with an E-Bike Rental

 電動アシスト自転車を1日1,000円でレンタル可能。古い町並みを自転車でのんびり巡るのもおすすめ。
You can rent an electric-assist bike for 1,000 yen a day.
It’s a great way to explore the charming old town at your own pace.

9. ご当地キャラ「せんとくん」がお出迎え　You’ll be greeted by “Sento-kun,” the beloved local mascot.

奈良といえば、忘れてはいけない「せんとくん」。入り口でお出迎えしてくれますよ！
No visit to Nara is complete without seeing “Sento-kun.”
You’ll find him waiting to welcome you at the entrance!
