妻との週末ドライブで愛知県新城市へきております。
We're on a weekend drive to Shinshiro City in Aichi Prefecture.

続いては地元の野菜やお花、特産品が楽しめる２つのスポット「グリーンファームしんしろ」と「もっくる新城」を巡りました。
Next, we visited two great spots for local vegetables, flowers, and specialties: "Green Farm Shinshiro" and "Mokkuru Shinshiro".

🌿グリーンファームしんしろ / Green Farm Shinshiro

まず立ち寄ったのはJA愛知東が運営する直売所『グリーンファームしんしろ』入口では色とりどりの花たちが出迎えてくれます。広い駐車場が嬉しいです。
Our first stop was a local farmers market run by JA Aichi Higashi. At the entrance, we were welcomed by colorful flowers.

特にマリーゴールドやケイトウが鮮やかで印象的でした。
The marigolds and cockscomb flowers were especially vibrant and eye-catching.

野菜もお米もとってもお値打ち。店内は広くて明るく、買い物もしやすいです。
The vegetables and rice were very reasonably priced. The shop was spacious, bright, and easy to navigate.

🏡道の駅『もっくる新城』 / Mokkuru Shinshiro Road Station

続いて車で数分の「道の駅もっくる新城」へ。
Next, we drove just a few minutes to Mokkuru Shinshiro Road Station.

近くには長篠の合戦（ながしののかっせん）の古戦場があります。天正3年（1575年）5月21日に行われた、戦国時代屈指の有名な戦いで織田信長・徳川家康の連合軍と、武田勝頼率いる武田軍の間で行われました。長篠の合戦が有名な理由は、織田信長が画期的な**鉄砲の三段撃ち（交代射撃）**を実施したとされる点です。
Nearby is the historic battlefield of the Battle of Nagashino.
It took place on May 21, 1575 (Tensho 3) and is one of the most famous battles of the Sengoku period.
The battle was fought between the allied forces of Oda Nobunaga and Tokugawa Ieyasu, and the Takeda army led by Takeda Katsuyori.
The Battle of Nagashino is especially well-known because Oda Nobunaga is said to have implemented a revolutionary tactic of rotating volley fire using matchlock guns, known as the "three-stage shooting".

新東名・新城ICの目の前という驚きの立地！観光客にも地元民にも愛される人気の道の駅です。
Located right in front of the Shinshiro IC on the Shin-Tomei Expressway, it's a convenient and beloved spot for both tourists and locals.

名物の卵かけご飯モーニングは大人気で完売でしたが、
The famous egg-over-rice breakfast was sold out due to its popularity, but...

新鮮な地場の野菜がたくさん販売されています
A wide variety of fresh, locally grown vegetables are available for sale.


新城、奥三河は『養鶏』の町です
Shinshiro and Oku-Mikawa are known as towns of poultry farming.


畜産物では鶏が有名で
卵掛けごはんや鶏料理がいただけますよ！
In terms of livestock products, chicken is especially famous,
and you can enjoy dishes like tamago-kake gohan (raw egg over rice) and various chicken dishes!

おみやげや特産品のコーナー、地元のグルメも豊富で楽しくお買い物できました。
The souvenir and local products section was full of treats, making shopping a joy!

今回訪れた2つの施設は、どちらも新城ICからアクセス抜群。
Both of the spots we visited are easily accessible from the Shinshiro IC.

下道からでも行けますが、ドライブがてら新東名を利用すれば快適そのもの。
You can take local roads, but using the Shin-Tomei Expressway makes for a comfortable drive.

ここは高速バスの停留所もあり、新宿方面などからのアクセスも良好です。
There’s also a highway bus stop, with buses frequently arriving from areas like Shinjuku.

  最近は娘も仕事が忙しいらしく今日は妻の人と2人で愛知県新城市方面へのドライブしてきました

地元密着型のスーパーマーケットや直売所に立ち寄りましたよ！

1. 柳生キャンプ場とは？
What is Yagyu Campground?

昨年度 私とキャンプに行ってから『キャンプにハマった！』という大学時代の先輩
今回で４回目となるキャンプに誘ってくれました
今回は、奈良県奈良市にある剣豪の里『柳生』にあります『柳生キャンプ場』を選択。先輩の住む大阪からもアクセス至便なのであります！

奈良市の東端、剣豪の里・柳生にある静かな山間のキャンプ場です。
Surrounded by mountains, Yagyu Campground is a tranquil retreat located in Yagyu, an area known for its samurai history in eastern Nara City.

今日は大学時代の先輩と２人で１泊の予定です
Today, I’m planning to spend one night here with a senior from my university days.

3. チェックインと設営 / Check-in & Setup

受付塔（右の黒い建物）前には
受付用の駐車場


サイトは１台しか停められないので
場外駐車場（1000円/泊）があります


In front of the reception tower (the black building on the right), there is a dedicated parking area for check-in.
Since each campsite allows parking for only one vehicle, an external parking lot is available for additional cars at ¥1,000 per night.

受付はスムーズで、スタッフも親切。区画は車を横付けできて広く、設営も楽々。ペグはハンマーがあればスムースに入ります。
The check-in process was smooth and staff were friendly. Our site was spacious and allowed us to park right next to it for easy setup.You can drive the pegs in smoothly if you have a hammer.

シャワー室は予約制です

車で１５分程度の道の駅に
『天然温泉 はり温泉らんど』があります
朝7時からやっているのがありがたい


There are women’s restrooms and a shower room available.
The shower room requires a reservation in advance.
About 15 minutes away by car, there is a roadside station with a natural hot spring called Hari Onsen Land (天然温泉 はり温泉らんど).
It’s open from 7:00 AM, which is especially convenient for early risers.

場内は高低差があり、トイレや水場までは坂を登ることも。
The campground terrain has elevation differences, so be prepared for a bit of uphill walking to reach restrooms or water points.

薪は受付で購入できますが時間外はネットで支払いをして薪コーナーの薪を使用することができます

Firewood is available for purchase at the reception.If you need it outside of office hours, you can pay online and help yourself to the firewood from the designated area.

コンビニやスーパーは近くに無いため、買い出しは「針IC」周辺で事前に済ませるのがおすすめ。
There are no nearby convenience stores—make sure to shop in advance near Hari IC (about 15 minutes by car).

ビールなどの酒類は販売されておらず、必要な方は持参を。
Alcohol is not sold onsite, so bring your own if needed.

This can cooler is amazing—
it keeps my beer cold the whole time!

レンタル品は充実しており、忘れ物があっても安心（数に限りあり）。
Rental items such as tents and fire pits are available, though quantities are limited.

4. 夜の焚き火と過ごし方 / Campfire Night & Atmosphere

キャンプと言えば『焚き火をしながら肉を喰らい酒を飲む！』ことですね
Camping isn’t camping unless you’re devouring meat by the fire and chugging some booze!

今回導入したマルチグリドルが大活躍しました
簡単にティッシュで拭くだけで綺麗になります
The multi-griddle I brought this time was a game changer.
Cleanup is super easy—just a quick wipe with a tissue and it’s spotless!

夕食は炭火で焼肉。焚き火を囲んで静かな山の夜を満喫。
We enjoyed grilled meat over charcoal and relaxed around the campfire under the quiet mountain sky.

夜10時の就寝時間を皆が守っており、とても静か。
Quiet hours start at 10 PM, and everyone respected this—making for a peaceful night’s sleep.

ファミリー層が多く、場内は賑やかすぎず穏やかな雰囲気。
The campground is popular among families, creating a warm and calm environment.

ソロキャンプ希望の方は、平日など人が少ない時期がよさそう。
If you prefer solitude, weekdays or less crowded seasons may be more suitable for solo camping.

5. 朝の時間とチェックアウト / Morning & Check-out

鳥の声で目覚めた朝　テントからの景色
I woke up to the sound of birds chirping—
and the view from the tent that morning was absolutely stunning.

鳥の声で目覚め、ホットサンドとコーヒーで朝食。
We woke to birdsong and enjoyed hot sandwiches and coffee for breakfast.

チェックアウトは11時。ゴミはゴミ捨て場に分別して出すことができます。
Check-out is by 11 AM. A garbage station is available onsite, where guests can dispose of their trash after sorting it correctly.

6. まとめと感想 / Summary & Impressions

柳生キャンプ場は、自然と静けさに包まれた癒しの空間。
Yagyu Campground offers a refreshing retreat in a serene natural setting.

整備も行き届いており、初心者やファミリーにも安心の環境でした。
Well-maintained and beginner-friendly, it's an ideal spot for families and those new to camping.
チェックアウトは受付に札を返却するだけでOK
Check-out? Nah, nothing fancy—just return the tag to the front and you’re good to go. Simple as that.

次回は紅葉の時期にも訪れてみたいと思える、素敵なキャンプ体験でした！
We’d love to visit again during the autumn foliage season—it was truly a wonderful camping experience!

滋賀・天之御中主尊神社にお祀りされており『古事記』に最初に登場する「天之御中主神（あめのみなかぬしのかみ）」は、『宇宙の根源を司る神様』です。
妻の人のたっての願いから訪問することといたしました。
He is the first deity to appear in the ancient text *Kojiki*, and is considered the primal god who governs the center of the cosmos.At my wife's earnest request, we decided to pay a visit.

天地開闢の冒頭に顕現した神で、「中心（中）」にある＝秩序の起点という意味を持ちます。
Appearing at the very beginning of creation, his name implies the “center,” symbolizing the origin of order and structure.

この神社は天台宗系の古跡である「長命寺跡」に由来し、主祭神は「天之御中主尊」。
The shrine is believed to originate from the ancient Chōmei-ji Temple site, linked to the Tendai Buddhist sect. The main enshrined deity is Amanominakanushi-no-Mikoto.

天照大神・大国主命・伊邪那岐命・伊邪那美命なども祀られています。
Other deities worshipped here include Amaterasu, Ōkuninushi, Izanagi, and Izanami.

古くから地域の産土神として信仰され、子供の成長や農作の安全が祈られてきました。
It has long been revered as a local guardian shrine, especially for children’s growth and safe harvests.

境内で販売されていた「苔玉」。地元の山の苔を使った手作りの作品です。
Handmade moss balls using local mountain moss were available for purchase within the grounds.

They feel like bringing a piece of the shrine's tranquility home.

1個1,500円で、癒しのインテリアやお土産にも最適です。信楽焼の器付きのものも。
Priced at ¥1,500, they make calming decorations or souvenirs. Some even come with Shigaraki ware dishes.

今回の訪問のきっかけは、妻の人と頻繁に訪れていた琵琶湖畔にある藤ケ崎龍神社の御神体が、崖崩れにより安全が確認されるまで五社神社へ一時遷座していることを知り、お参りに伺ったことです。 The reason for my recent visit was learning that the sacred object of **Fujigasaki Ryujinja**, located by Lake Biwa where my wife and I often visited, had been **temporarily relocated to Gosha Jinja** until the cliff instability could be resolved—so we came to pay our respects.

梅雨の時期の楽しみといえば、やっぱりアジサイ。
Hydrangeas are a true delight during Japan's rainy season.

滋賀県守山市にある「もりやま芦刈園」では、日本と西洋、合わせて約100品種・1万本ものアジサイが園内を美しく彩ります。
Moriyama Ashikari-en in Shiga Prefecture showcases over 100 varieties and 10,000 hydrangeas from both Japan and the West.

滋賀県には湖東三山をはじめとする古刹がたくさんあり、妻の人とそれらを訪問するのが最近の週末の過ごし方となってまいりました。今回もそうした古刹を巡るドライブ途中で立ち寄りました
"Shiga Prefecture is home to many ancient temples, including the famous Kotō Sanzan, and recently, visiting these historic sites with my wife has become our typical way of spending the weekends. During one such drive to tour these temples, we stopped by here as well."

整備された駐車場と、誘導してくれるガードマンの存在もありがたいポイント。
