せせらぎ街道沿い　岐阜の山あいにひっそりとたたずむ「ながた中華そば アップタウン」。
昭和レトロな雰囲気が漂う外観と、手作り感のある看板が目印。

中に入ると、テーブル席とカウンター席。別れて存在するお座敷は広々としていてとてもくつろげます。ツーリング仲間とのんびりと食事を楽しめました。 This retro-style roadside eatery is a perfect rest stop. The spacious tatami room offers a relaxing break, especially for motorcyclists.

Right in front of the shop is the Seseragi Kaidō (Babbling Brook Road).

メニュー紹介 / Menu Highlights

看板メニューはもちろん高山名物「中華そば」。そこに牛丼がついたボリューム満点のセットは満足度抜群！
さらにおすすめは、牛もつと豚ホルモンがたっぷり入った『ホルモン定食』。

• ホルモン定食（牛もつ＋豚ホルモン入り）：1,600円

The ramen & beef bowl set is a hearty choice (¥1,500), while the hotplate offal set (beef and pork intestines) at ¥1,600 is full of rich flavor.

実食レポート / What We Ate

中華そば＋牛丼セット / Ramen & Mini Gyudon Set

中華そばはあっさり醤油スープにちぢれ麺、チャーシュー、メンマ、わかめ、ネギがのった王道『高山ラーメン』の味わい。
牛丼は、甘辛の玉ねぎと牛肉がご飯と相性抜群！紅生姜がアクセントになっています。
The ramen is classic shoyu-style with chewy noodles, tender pork, and seaweed. The　beef bowl was delicious with sweet-simmered onions and a nice ginger kick.

ホルモン定食 / Grilled Offal Set

熱々の鉄板でジュージュー音を立てながら運ばれてくるホルモン。
ぷりぷりの牛もつと豚ホルモンが味噌ダレでしっかり味付けされ、ご飯が進みます！

Served sizzling hot on an iron plate, the offal is rich and flavorful, a mix of tender beef and pork intestines in a savory miso sauce.

アクセスと駐車場 / Access & Parking

このお店は高山市街に入る手前にあり、混雑を避けて高山ラーメンが楽しめる穴場的スポットです。
駐車場完備でバイクでの立ち寄りには最適！道沿いには自販機もあり、休憩にも便利です。 While Takayama city center can be crowded, you can still enjoy Takayama-style ramen here without the traffic. Plenty of space for bikes too!

梅雨の晴れ間となった６月２１日（土）仲間たちと一緒に、岐阜県の人気ツーリングルート「せせらぎ街道」へ。新緑に包まれた渓谷道や美しい板取川の流れ、涼しいトンネル、美味しいご飯や絶景スポットを巡り、最高の初夏を満喫しました。本日は全体の行程をご紹介した後、明日以降各施設について８回シリーズでご紹介します

From lush riverside routes to cool tunnels, delicious food, and panoramic viewpoints — it was the perfect early summer adventure.Today, I will give you an overview of the entire itinerary. Rising from the turmoil of the Warring States era, he became de facto ruler of Japan after his victory at the Battle of Sekigahara and was appointed shogun in 1603.

天下布武への道 ～織田信長の足跡をたどる歴史旅～

The Road to Tenka Fubu – A Historical Journey Tracing Nobunaga’s Footsteps

「名古屋郷土三英傑特集」最初の１人は「織田信長（1534–1582）」です
戦国時代を代表する革新者であり、後の天下統一の礎を築いた武将です。
大胆な軍事戦略、新しい経済政策、宗教勢力への徹底抗戦など、その存在は常に時代の先を行っていました。
彼のスローガン「天下布武（てんかふぶ）」は、「武によって天下に秩序をもたらす」という信念を表しています。
その志半ばで本能寺に倒れた信長ですが、日本の近世への扉をこじ開けた存在として、今なお強烈な印象を残しています。

Oda Nobunaga (1534–1582) was a revolutionary warlord of Japan’s Sengoku period who laid the foundations for national unification.
He was known for his bold military strategies, economic reforms, and his uncompromising stance against religious powers.
His motto, Tenka Fubu (“Rule the realm by force”), reflected his belief in restoring order through military power.
Though he perished at Honno-ji before completing his ambitions, Nobunaga remains one of the most iconic and influential figures in Japanese history.

そんな信長の人生を、ゆかりの地を巡りながら体感できるのがこの旅です。
This journey allows you to experience Nobunaga’s life through the places where he lived, fought, and ultimately fell.

勝幡城跡｜Shobata Castle Ruins（愛西市）

信長の生誕地とされる場所。現在は住宅地に石碑がひっそりと建ち、戦国の息吹を感じられます。
Believed to be Nobunaga’s birthplace. A stone marker quietly stands in a residential area, evoking the dawn of the Sengoku era.

清洲城｜Kiyosu Castle（清須市）

信長が尾張統一を目指し拠点とした城。現在は復元天守と城下公園が整備されています。
The base where Nobunaga aimed to unify Owari Province. The reconstructed keep and park commemorate his ambition.

那古野城跡｜Nagoya Castle Area（名古屋市）

信長が幼少期を過ごした那古野城の跡地は現在の名古屋城の敷地内に含まれています。
The remains of Nobunaga’s childhood home now lie within Nagoya Castle grounds.

木瓜道｜Mokko-michi（名古屋市）

桶狭間出陣時、信長が熱田へ向けて通ったとされる古道。「木瓜」は織田家の家紋に由来。
An old road Nobunaga’s army likely marched along. “Mokko” refers to the Oda family crest.

熱田神宮｜Atsuta Shrine（名古屋市）

桶狭間の戦いの前に信長が戦勝祈願をしたと伝わる名社。
The sacred site where Nobunaga is said to have prayed before the Battle of Okehazama.

桶狭間古戦場｜Okehazama Battlefield（豊明市）

今川義元を破った劇的な奇襲戦。現在は整備された歴史公園になっています。
The dramatic battlefield of Nobunaga’s surprise victory over Imagawa Yoshimoto.

小牧山城｜Komaki Castle（小牧市）

信長が美濃攻略のために築いた山城。展望台からの眺望が見事です。
A strategic hilltop fortress built to aid in the conquest of Mino. The views are spectacular.

犬山城｜Inuyama Castle（犬山市）

信長の叔父・信康が築いた現存天守。木曽川沿いの景観も美しい。
One of Japan’s original castles, built by Nobunaga’s uncle. Picturesque location by the Kiso River.

岐阜城｜Gifu Castle（岐阜市）

稲葉山城を攻略後、「岐阜」と改称し天下布武の拠点に。金華山頂上にそびえ立ちます。
Renamed from Inabayama to Gifu, this mountain castle became the base of Nobunaga’s unification dream.

千種峠｜Chikusa Pass（滋賀・岐阜県境）

金ヶ崎の退き口で、信長が命からがら越えた険しい峠道。
A dangerous escape route used by Nobunaga during his retreat from Kanegasaki.

今井町｜Imai Town（奈良県橿原市）

織田軍の服属要請を退けた自立自治の町。江戸時代の町並みが今も残ります。
An autonomous merchant town that resisted Nobunaga. Edo-period streets remain beautifully preserved.

本能寺跡｜Site of Honno-ji（京都市中京区）

1582年、明智光秀に襲撃され、信長が自刃した地。現在は石碑が建つのみ。
The site where Nobunaga died during the Honno-ji Incident. Today, only a quiet stone monument remains.

（補遺）養源院｜Yogen-in Temple（京都市東山区）

（補遺）養源院｜Yogen-in Temple（京都市東山区）

養源院は、豊臣秀吉の側室・淀君（信長の妹お市の方の娘・浅井三姉妹長女茶々）が、父・浅井長政（信長の妹お市の方の夫）と祖父・浅井久政らの二十一回忌の供養のために建立を願い、創建された浅井氏の菩提寺です。
This temple was originally established by Yodo-dono, concubine of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the deaths of her father Azai Nagamasa and grandfather Azai Hisamasa. It served as the family temple of the Azai clan.

火災で焼失した後は、淀君の妹であり、徳川秀忠の正室となったお江の方（崇源院・信長の妹お市の方の娘・浅井三姉妹三女）の願により再興され、
以後は徳川将軍家の菩提所としての役割も担っていきました。
After it was destroyed by fire, the temple was rebuilt through the request of Oeyo (posthumously Sugen-in), sister of Yodo-dono and wife of Tokugawa Hidetada, the second shogun. It later became a Tokugawa family temple as well.

戦国から江戸へと移りゆく時代のなかで、浅井・豊臣・徳川という三つの時代をつなぐ数奇な歴史を背負った寺なのです。
Yogen-in thus carries a unique and layered legacy, linking the Azai, Toyotomi, and Tokugawa families through the turbulent transition from Sengoku to Edo.

また、本堂の天井には、伏見城で討死した武士たちの床板を移した「血天井」が現存し、戦国の悲劇を今に伝えています。
The temple also preserves a "blood-stained ceiling" made from the floorboards where samurai fell during the fall of Fushimi Castle—a haunting reminder of the age of war.

🐉中部地方・四神をめぐる風水探訪旅
Four Divine Beasts Tour in the Chubu Region

先日、等身大「ガメラの着ぐるみ像」と「ミニチュアの町」がある公園が話題となりましたそこでは『特撮ごっこ』が楽しめるというわけです
その際『日本人ってペンギンが好きって言われているけどカメも好きだよね～』という話になりました
『いや、もともと中国発祥の『四神』も『玄武』がいるくらいですからね～』
『あ～なるほど　この辺にも『四神』と所縁の深い土地ってあるんでしょうかね？』
ということで調べてみました

Recently, a park featuring a life-sized Gamera suit statue and a miniature town set became a hot topic.
During the conversation, someone said, “People often say Japanese love penguins, but we’re pretty fond of turtles too, aren’t we?”
Another chimed in, “Well, there is Genbu, one of the Four Divine Beasts from ancient Chinese mythology—that’s a turtle, after all.”
“Oh, right! I wonder if there are any places around here connected to the Four Beasts?”
That’s what got me curious, so I decided to do a little research.

東西南北を司る四神（青龍・白虎・朱雀・玄武）。

その思想は風水や都市設計に色濃く影響を与え、今でも日本各地に痕跡を残しています。

今回は中部地方でその「四神の面影」を感じられるスポットをめぐる旅をご紹介します。
The Four Divine Beasts—Seiryu (Azure Dragon), Byakko (White Tiger), Suzaku (Vermilion Bird), and Genbu (Black Tortoise)—govern the four directions in East Asian cosmology. Their influence is deeply rooted in feng shui and city planning. Here, we explore places in Japan's Chubu region where traces of these mythical protectors still linger.

🔹 有松（愛知県名古屋市緑区）
Arimatsu, Nagoya City, Aichi

東海道の宿場町として栄えた有松。町の作りには、東に川（青龍）、西に旧街道（白虎）、北に丘（玄武）という風水的要素が揃っています。絞り染めの町並みを歩きながら、自然と調和した都市設計に触れられます。
Once a thriving post town along the Tokaido, Arimatsu's layout reflects feng shui elements: a river to the east (Seiryu), an old road to the west (Byakko), and hills to the north (Genbu). As you stroll through its traditional shibori-dyed streets, the harmony of nature and human design becomes evident.

🔹 松本城とその城下町（長野県松本市）
Matsumoto Castle and Castle Town, Nagano

国宝・松本城を中心に広がる城下町は、東に田川（青龍）、西に道（白虎）、北に山並み（玄武）、南に田園（朱雀）という構成で設計されたとする説も。近世の都市設計にも風水が影響していたことがうかがえます。
Centered on the national treasure Matsumoto Castle, the town's layout reflects feng shui principles: Tagawa River to the east (Seiryu), roads to the west (Byakko), mountains to the north (Genbu), and farmlands to the south (Suzaku). This shows how feng shui influenced early modern urban design.

🔹 久能山東照宮（静岡県静岡市）
Kunozan Toshogu Shrine, Shizuoka

徳川家康を祀るこの神社は、まさに四神相応の地。南に駿河湾（朱雀）、北に日本平の山（玄武）、東西に山道（青龍・白虎）があり、風水を強く意識して建てられたと言われます。社殿の荘厳さと共に、地形にも注目です。
Dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu, this shrine is located on an ideal feng shui site: Suruga Bay to the south (Suzaku), Nihondaira hills to the north (Genbu), and flanking paths to the east and west (Seiryu and Byakko). Its geography and magnificent architecture are equally awe-inspiring.

🔹 郡上八幡の町割り（岐阜県郡上市）
Gujo Hachiman Town Planning, Gifu

清流・吉田川に沿って形成された郡上八幡の町。川が流れる東（青龍）、山々が囲む北（玄武）、旧街道が通る西（白虎）など、自然と調和した町割りに風水思想の影響が見られます。郡上踊りで有名な風情ある町です。
Formed along the pristine Yoshida River, Gujo Hachiman reflects feng shui concepts: river to the east (Seiryu), mountains in the north (Genbu), and an old road to the west (Byakko). The town, famous for its Gujo Odori dance, exudes historical charm.

🔹 金沢・兼六園の意匠（石川県金沢市）
Design of Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa

兼六園には直接「四神」を祀るわけではないものの、庭園の石組みや池、築山などの配置に風水思想の影響があるとされます。金沢城の築城にも、東西南北の配置を意識した設計がなされています。
Though Kenrokuen Garden doesn't directly honor the Four Divine Beasts, its rock arrangements, ponds, and artificial hills reflect feng shui influence. Kanazawa Castle's design also considered directional orientation based on this ancient philosophy.

◉ 京都・船岡山周辺（玄武）
Kyoto – Around Funaokayama (Genbu)

船岡山（京都市北区）は、かつて平安京の北を守る「玄武」としての象徴的存在でした。
Funaokayama in Kyoto’s Kita Ward was considered a symbolic representation of Genbu, the Black Tortoise, guarding the northern boundary of the ancient Heian capital.

◉ 京都・東福寺塔頭「霊雲院」
Reiun-in Temple at Tofuku-ji, Kyoto

枯山水庭園「四神相応の庭」があり、庭師・重森三玲が四神を石と苔で表現しています。
Reiun-in, a sub-temple of Tofuku-ji in Kyoto, features a karesansui (dry landscape) garden known as “Shijin Sōō no Niwa,” or the Garden of the Four Divine Beasts, designed by famed gardener Mirei Shigemori.

「四天王」を祀る寺院ですが、その伽藍配置は四神思想の影響を受けたとも言われています。
